Such a busy week (again). Haven't had my laptop for 168 hours (more or less) because my mother took it with her to California while on vacay. I managed to drop my cell phone in the lake. So that was fun. Anyway my pics: the cute flowers they had set up at the restaurant in Byerly's, my sisters supercute cowgirl boot outfit, the nifty serving-tin sort of thing that I use for miscellaneous items, a stack of books I have yet to read this summer (P.S. I am reading Howl's Moving Castle right now and it is fabulous. Great for magic-lovers such as myself:)), and my maxi outfit which consists of: a maxi I purchased at H&M a while back, a pair of boots I picked up at Famous Footwear that I literally live in during the winter months, and a pair of fabulous sunglasses my mother brought back for me from her trip. I think that some people have a fear of maxis because it is said that they make you look short or idk I think they just intimidate people.I am short and I personally do not see any problem with them. Just get them tailored to your height or a teeny bit longer. Or do it yourself. My obsession with maxi dresses will never die. They are so simple and manageable and comfortable. Also sunglasses are marvelous-they add instant glam to the person donning them. Weather this said person be in jeans and a t-shirt, or pumps and a cocktail dress. They add instant edge and mystery to a look. Glasses are like jewelry for your face. Love it.
