Missoni (finally)
So? Missoni for Target? Poncho? Makes my life. I have always been a lover of ponchos and the other day my mother (bless her soul) came back from grocery shopping with this for my sister and I to share. Little Sophie didn't like it so its mine now-ALL MINE!! Muahahahaha... But seriously it took me a while to warm up to Missoni's crazy prints. I still don't like some of their stuff. But this piece to me is perfect. It is well-made with good buttons and yarn and I look forward to wearing it out this winter (with long sleeves and jeans for school, and minidresses with tights for going out). ALSO Halloween is soon!!! Super pumped to be trick-or-treating with some of my favorite people:) If I don't post 'till after the festivities are over: have a wonderful time everyone!!

Grounded
Sigh. October is almost over and soon the snow shall fall and little old me won't be able to wear heels anymore. Too risky in MN. So soon, I will consider myself Grounded: stuck wearing flats and sneakers and boots until the eventual spring thaw.

P.S. I like this dress because it is a shift and it utilizes the wonderful fad of color blocking. I figured I could wear it during the winter months with tights and a sweater and, of course, lots of jewelry. Also, it is from Urban Outfitters. So I automatically die for it. I paired it with my fave pair of leopard heels.
P.P.S. I went to Goodwill over the weekend:) So prepare yourselves for some crazy clothing...
P.P.P.S. Also reminder to all my fashion-forward friends: I will be bringing my camera around with me to snap pics of some fabulous outfits. Get crazy. Go wild. Inspire me with your creative ways of dressing and your personal style. Have fun with getting ready for school in the mornings!I will eventually be making a post of all my fashionable friends. Get excited.

"The trouble with you is the trouble with me, got two good eyes, but you still don't see." - Grateful Dead
Curtain rises. On the stage is an array of clothing racks, filled with hangers and hangers of the most unusual items. Statement pieces some may call them.
Enter stage right, a girl of about sixteen years of age, wearing orange skinny jeans and a t-shirt declaring 'I'm a pepper'. She crosses to the rack nearest to her and begins to shuffle through it. Sighing, she continues on to the next, finding a handful of things to add to her already large stack of clothing strewn over her arm. She stops to answer a text. When she looks up the stage goes dark, all except for a dress that is under spotlight. She gasps, barely able to take in what she is seeing. You could say it was love at first sight. She immediately grabs it and tries it on. Satisfied that it fit well enough, she purchases it. She is beside herself with excitement. She can already tell that her and this fine new dress will be great friends. Even if it makes her chest look a bit boxy. Details.

P.S. My sis made me a supercute crane...I had to share the news...:)
P.P.S. This dress is one of my favorites because of its 70's vibe, crafy-cheesy details, and because it is so close to ugly. I always fall for the funny, unattractive pieces. They are my weakness.

Our crowd can be a little rowdy sometimes...
Super pumped for MEA this week! Only have school Mon and Tues. Awww yeah. I wore this outfit a couple weeks ago-sweater from Forever21, skirt from Kohl's, necklace thrifted, and bag from Costa Rica. I thought I would try out the whole tuck-your-sweater-in thing and I was pleasantly surprised when it worked out nicely. I kept tripping over the skirt but no serious injuries resulted from it! I have also been embracing my fall colors more and more and I am loving wearing knits. Umm so have you ever seen those books that are like a classic book that has been kinda rewritten to have some sort of scary thing in it? Does that make sense? Anyway I was at half-priced books with my friend yesterday and I spotted a copy of Little Women and Werewolves and I thought I would give it a try. Embrace the Halloween spirit!! (Speaking of I am thinking of going as Velma!! Get excited.) I will let you know if the book turns out to be worthwhile!

Turmoil
Sorry I have been MIA for so freaking long! Been super busy with the play and school and such. Anyway I wore this a couple weeks ago shopping. This hat is new from Target and it makes me feel like someone out of a movie! More pics soon, I promise. Also, shout out to my friend Gracie (who requested this shout out BY the way;)). I am planning on doing a post with all my well-dressed friends in it? So if you are reading this and I see you on a regular basis, start dressing to impress;) INSPIRE ME! Also leave me a comment (a NICE comment) and/or email me at kisssakitten@yahoo.com. I think that's it.

I just died a little bit
| *Me un-gracefully landing after making an epic model jump... |
Snap Cap of the week: Six-year-old's laugh an average of 300 times a day. Adults only laugh 15 to 100 times a day.
I wore this outfit to school on Friday-it is super freaking comfy. The pants need to be hemmed up (ahem no short jokes please) but otherwise they are golden. They have this marvelous unexpected shape to them that I enjoy. I love the red button in the center because it is perfect for matching with red shirts. Pants are vintage I think... Shirt from Target, shoes thrifted. I feel like a child when I wear this outfit. But I don't mind...is that bad? Anyway more to come soon because I had actual time this weekend to snap some pics:)
P.S. Everyone listen to this song because it is my latest obsession.
P.P.S. Getting excited for all the Halloween costume possibilities!!! WOOO!
