'So Cosmo says your fat? Well I aint down with that'
Ahhh Sir Mix-A-Lot. You speak the truth. Went to Homecoming yesterday! Here is what I wore. I didn't get a pic for myself so I dressed up just now to have some to upload:) I bought the dress at Urban Outfitters, shoes from Target. I was more done-up yesterday(aka I had actual makeup on and my hair curled) so I looked actually cute. I did look ridiculous trying to walk in these shoes but so did everyone else in their heels. We had a wonderful time dancing and after-partying (meaning sitting around watching The Road to Eldorado while eating Rolo's and snuggling my friend's puppy). As the Tahitians would say: 'Na-na!' (goodbye)

'Why is a raven like a writing desk?'
Busy, busy, busy! Catching up after catching cold and missing school for two days. Boatload of homework to do. But still time for some dress-up:) ALWAYS. Okay, so I kinda felt like a grandma in this dress because it is so conservative (Don't get me wrong-there is nothing wrong with conservative. Just that I feel like it can wait until I am older and need to hide what I got...), but I love it anyway. Bought it at Target my freshman year. I was channeling sort of winter-chic vibe while pairing these items together. All I need is a fur across my shoulders (Fake, of course. Otherwsie vintage!) and a playbill in my hand. I don't even know the proper way to wear a beret but I swear there is no WRONG way to do it?

New Girl
*My mouse face:) Getting ready for Alice!
Sooo in about an hour the show The New Girl is premiering on Fox. So excited. But besides that I threw this together to inspire me to do some homework. Heels and lipstick inspire me to work. This outfit doesn't match really at all but IDK it felt good on:) These are a couple of my fave items. Die for leopard. Also wearing my moms old glasses that I am in love with. Busting a move in that last pic there. To the music in my mind! Keep it real.

P.S. The food fight on Glee makes me wish that someone would start one during my lunch period!

Got no rhyme or reason
So another early-morning shot of a school outfit. Here are the pants. I am in love with them. They are so comfy, and they look good with everything. At first I didn't like the look for any other place besides the runway, but I have come to love the shape of this sort of pant. Any bottoms that go up to the waist are an A+ for me. I paired mine with my blazer to make the whole look a bit more fancy, and some bling around my neck for good measure. I didn't wear my pimp hat to school, because firstly there is a rule against the wearing of them during school hours, and secondly because I wasn't absolutely certain that it went with this outfit. Anyway...as my chemistry teacher would say: I digress. So homecoming is this coming weekend and I have no date:P. A group of us girls are going as a 'single ladies' group, which is all fine and dandy with me, but since we are now in our junior year I feel like we are old for that. But I will grin and bear it because I am a maniac for dancing:)

...
Soo here is what I wore today...my sis was nice enough to snap a few pics for me before I dashed out the door this morning. It was, like, 6:30. So sorry about the unattractiveness. This dress...I wear it SO MUCH. You don't even know. But a good maxi is such a necessity. I seriously could not live without mine. I paired it up with: a superlong sweater for the supercold weather at the bus stop, two long (and not exactly matching) necklaces, TONS of bracelets, and my trusty flats (the point on the end makes my legs look longer-or so they say!). I think that fashion should be an expression of ones self, and that what you wear tells a story.

P.S. Neutropenia-wise I have been well. A bit more fatigued than usual, but no other symptoms. Yay for feeling healthy!!!

What's cooler than being cool?
Sigh. A new school year has begun and I am already short on extra time. My most sincere apologies for the lack of posts that will be sure to come. Anyway, so? What's cooler than being cool? According to Outkast, it is 'Ice Cold'. And I simply cannot disagree. Yesterday I hit up H&M in search of new school clothing. I could live there I love it so much...Anyway got some new basics and bling. In order: new backpack along with my lunch box, a necklace from H&M that goes down to like my bellybutton but is so shiny that I love it anyway, my first blazer-of which I have no doubt I will use profusely, some bangles I picked up for cheap in Duluth-I loved the tiny details on them, Purr by Katy Perry(my scent), a cute little beret that I picked up-getting excited for hat season:), an old flannel of mine that I have missed since warm weather banished it to the far reaches of my closet, a supercute pleather skirt that I accidentally bought a size too small...I will just have to squeeze;), and the pattern of my all-time favorite new item-call it a sneak peek!

Come put a little love in my glovebox
Felt as if I were in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe! FOR NARNIA!
My travel buddy-he is a white blood cell! BFF.
Day one outfit! Comfy enough for the drive up but still nice enough to make me feel glamorous-well, until my left heel got caught in the floorboards of a restaurant. That was embarrassing.
Dancing in the living room:)
Don't judge me. The shadow looked cool. And this is how I feel inside. Can't be tamed(Miley Cyrus anyone?).
Day two outfit. Again, comfy-but it was chilly so I had to mix and match with what I had brought.
This window would cast hundreds of little tiny rainbows around the bedroom every morning.
Road trip to Duluth with my grandma, my mother, and my 'lil sis! The four of us stayed in a supercute manor house? It was portioned off and we ended up renting the bottom level which included the kitchen, the dining room, and a couple of sitting rooms. Two of the sitting rooms had been converted into makeshift bedrooms. OH and we had this perfect little porch to sit in!! Anyway it was marvelous. We ate too much, laughed a lot, danced a bit, and did some light shopping. School starts on Wed for me and I am somewhat looking forward to it! However, it is going to be rough for me to get used to picking 'school appropriate' outfits(meaning no shoulders showing and pretty much no heels because the hallways are so dang slippery). Also I heard from my mother that everyone's schedules are being switched but I will investigate myself before I freak out over it.

P.S. I felt good again this weekend! It is annoying to transport my medicine but it's fine:P I am glad that I have felt so good for the past couple weeks but it makes me nervous that I will crash sometime soon? If that makes sense...Hmm...
